DVD Shrink is a free software application developed for computers running Windows operating systems to allow users backup their DVD discs. DVD Shrink can be used with any DVD burning program for creating DVD disc backups which can be burned later using Nero or other similar software. Users can simply save the output as a file on the hard drive and then burn it. Unlike other similar DVD ripping and backup software, DVD Shrink integrates powerful decryption algorithms to remove the issue caused by DVDs with protection based on encryption. More than that, it can shrink original DVDs to fit smaller DVD discs, and also allows users re-author their DVDs.
The latest version available for download is DVD Shrink 3.2.0.15 and the newest enhancements added to the software include the Quality Setttings tab with the AEC algorithms option, the NeroSDK 1.05 update with support for DVD-9 dual-layer, the new March by ZeF69 toolbar and several interface improvements.
DVD Shrink is supported on computers running wither Windows 9x, Windows 2000, or the Windows XP operating system.
